The Country Music Association has recognized THOMAS RHETT, LUKE COMBS and FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s TYLER HUBBARD among a group of ten Triple Play Award winners. The Triple Play award goes to writers who pen three number one hits in a 12 month period. The recipients will be honored February 19 at a private event in Nashville.
DAN + SHAY and KACEY MUSGRAVES have been chosen to perform at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards February 10 on CBS.
MAREN MORRIS will launch Girl: The World Tour March 9 in Chicago. CASSADEE POPE and RAELYNN will serve as openers for the more 40 dates that include stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Los Angeles Australia and Europe.
BRETT YOUNG will bring his live show to the Joint at the Hard Rock Live for a March 22 concert. Tickets go on sale today (Friday) for the show.
BIG & RICH will hit the road for the Peace, Love & Happy Tour in 2019. The tour will include a pop-up bar for veterans and their families to enjoy a prime backstage experience.
STELLA PARTON will mark five decades in music with the release of her 40th album, Survivor, on March 29.
RASCAL FLATTS have joined the lineup of artists who’ll pay tribute to Christian singer Michael W. Smith April 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to celebrate his 35th year in music. VINCE GILL, AMY GRANT, WYNONNA, THE OAK RIDGE BOYS, RICKY SKAGGS and THE GATLIN BROTHERS are among other country performers for the show.
