Returning from their three-game road trip, the Penguins face Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, tonight, on Rocky 96.5. Evgeni Malkin won’t be in the lineup however, as he’s been suspended for one game after swinging his stick at the head of Michael Raffl during Monday night’s win against the Philadelphia Flyers. Olli Maatta won’t be on the ice either, although his absence is due to a different reason. Maatta sustained an upper-body injury against the Flyers and has been placed on IR with no timetable to return. Since the Pens are down a D-Man and Justin Schultz isn’t quite ready to rejoin the team for game action, Chad Ruhwedel will skate for the first time since Nov. 19. Zach Aston-Reese will also make his return. Aston-Reese has been out for the last 13 games due to injury. It’s Pens and Oilers tonight on Rocky 96.5!
