Matt Murray posted his 10th career shutout and the Penguins earned a huge two points last night, defeating the Columbus 3-0 in the first game of a home-and-home series with the Blue Jackets. Phil Kessel scored for the first time in 16 games to put the Pens up for good in the first period, and Nick Bjugstad and Sidney Crosby also found the back of the net in the victory. The Penguins now have a difficult weekend on the horizon with the second game of the home-and-home against the Blue Jackets in Columbus Saturday night. That game is followed by a quick return to Pittsburgh to take on the Boston Bruins on Sunday. Listen to all the action this weekend on Rocky 96.5!
