Pens at Oilers – Nov. 1

The Penguins haven’t looked strong so far on this five-game road trip, losing both games last weekend to the Wild and Jets, 2-1 and 7-1 respectively. Casey DeSmith came in to relieve Matt Murray during the 7-1 shellacking at the hands of the Jets, and then was promptly sent back to the minors. Tristan Jarry will now sit on the bench as backup after being recalled. The Penguins are 0-4 in the second game of a back-to-back this season. That’s an unfortunate stat considering the Penguins play in back-to-back games tonight and tomorrow. They need a solid performance in the first game tonight against the Oilers. Here’s your Puckdrop:
