The Pittsburgh Penguins drop the puck on the 2018-19 season tonight on Rocky 96.5 against the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Washington Capitals. The Capitals are playing in their second game of the season after trouncing the Boston Bruins last night 7-0. The big news from yesterday is that Washington forward Tom Wilson was suspended 20 games yesterday by the league for a high hit on Oskar Sundqvist from the St. Louis Blues in a preseason game. This is the fourth time in the last 13 months that WIlson has been suspended, including a three game suspension during last year’s playoffs for a similarly high hit on the Penguins’ Zach Aston-Reese. Wilson will be ineligible to play in tonight’s game as well as their November 7th contest in Washington. Pittsburgh Penguins hockey returns tonight on Rocky 96.5!
