Pens Vs. Lightning – Nov. 15

The Penguins take to the ice again tonight, battling the best team in the Eastern Conference, the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Pens have fallen on a difficult stretch of late, going 1-5-1 in their last seven. And it doesn’t get any easier this evening. Not only are they taking on one of the league’s best, Captain Sidney Crosby is out with an upper-body injury. General Manager Jim Rutherford did make a move yesterday to shake up the Pens, sending winger Carl Hagelin to LA in exchange for winger Tanner Pearson. Rutherford himself was also resigned by the franchise to a three-year contract extension. The Penguins face off against the Bolts tonight on Rocky 96.5!
