Just like on Friday and Saturday, the Penguins blew an early lead to the Ducks last night. Only this time, the Penguins couldn’t come back for the win. 4-2 was the final score against Anaheim in the third game of a three-game home stand for the Penguins. They hit the road now to take on the Washington Capitals in DC this Wednesday night on Rocky 96.5. The Pens made some moves today, waiving winger Garret Wilson and sending forward Jean-Sebastian Dea back down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Wilson had two assists in 13 games for the Penguins, while Dea had a goal in three games after rejoining the big club. He was picked up from the New Jersey Devils who waived him on Nov. 29. Patric Hornqvist was taken off IR today, which means these moves make way for him to return to the ice this Wednesday. We’ll have the Pens and Caps for you tomorrow night on Rocky 96.5.
