After being shut out by the Carolina Hurricanes last night, the Penguins got some bad news today as Matt Murray sat out of practice and is now being evaluated for an upper body injury. Murray’s injury, though, is not a concussion and he will make the trip to Florida with the team. Mike Sullivan made same changes to the lines today, moving newly-acquired Nick Bjugstad to the wing on Sidney Crosby’s line, up from second-line center. With Evgeni Malkin steal dealing with his own upper body injury, Matt Cullen jumped from centering the fourth line to center the second line when the Pens skated this afternoon. The Pens will take on Bjugstad’s former team, the Florida Panther tomorrow night on Rocky 96.5!
