After 3 attempts this season, the Penguins finally defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-3 on Tuesday night. The Devils had beaten the Pens in their prior 3 face offs this year. Scoring has been coming from the defense as of late, and last night was no different with Chad Ruhwedel adding a tally. Ruhwedel, who had not played between November 19 and February 13, scored for the first time this season. He’s the fourth Penguins blue-liner to net a goal in the last two games. With the win, the Penguins moved out of a wild card spot and into third place in the Metropolitan Division, just two point behind the second place Capitals. The Pens will take on the San Jose Sharks Thursday night on Rocky 96.5!
