The Penguins came away from Nationwide Arena in Columbus with a 5-2 victory over the Blue Jackets last night. The Blue Jackets made a lot of noise at the trade deadline on Monday, but it was the player the Pens traded for earlier this month that had the biggest impact on the game. Jared McCann had two of the five Penguins goals in last night’s contest. Also, Sergei Bobrovsky should start charging Jake Guentzel rent, because Guentzel is living in Bob’s head. Jake continues to have success against the Blue Jackets, scoring another goal last night, giving him 4 this season against Columbus. Both Chad Ruhwedel and Bryan Rust left the game with injuries and Mike Sullivan said that both players would be out “longer term.” The Pens are on the road again this Friday night in Buffalo on Rocky 96.5!
