The Penguins let another lead evaporate in the waning minutes of the third period last night for the second time in as many games. Justin Williams scored at 18:04 in the third, 6-on-5 with the goalie pulled, to tie it, and Dougie Hamilton netted the lone shoot out goal for the Canes win. The single point from last night’s contest means the Penguins are 4 out of first place in the Met, but since the Islanders fell to the Bruins in regulation, the Pens are just 2 points from second place. Pittsburgh continues its 4-game road trip tomorrow night, taking on a very tough Predators team in Nashville. Its a rematch of the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, Thursday, on Rocky 96.5!
