The NHL Awards were presented last night in Las Vegas, and unfortunately, Sidney Crosby came in second for the Hart Trophy as the league’s MVP to Tamp Bay’s Nikita Kucherov. Kucherov scored 128 points on the season to Crosby’s 100. Both players were ousted in the first round of the playoffs. However, Sid still received more votes than Edmonton’s Connor McDavid whose team didn’t even qualify for the postseason. Even though its June, the NHL off season action continues tomorrow with the NHL Draft.
