2019 Penguins Draft Recap

The Penguins went into the NHL Draft on Friday with a first round pick for the first time since 2014. And with that selection the Penguins chose Left Winger Samuel Poulin. The 18-year old from Sherbrooke Phoenix of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League was captain of his squad last season and scored 29 goals and 76 points in 67 regular season games. Upon completion of the draft their were five new players that the Penguins added to their system:

Samuel Poulin – LW (Round 1-Pick 21)

Nathan Legare – F (Round 3-Pick 74)

Judd Caulfield – F (Round 5-Pick 145)

Valterri Puustinen – F (Round 7-Pick 203)

Santeri Airola – D (Round 7-Pick 211)
