There are few barometers for the success of a music video these days as telling as the number of views on YouTube. And Queen’s video for the song Bohemian Rhapsody has hit a major milestone, garnering over 1 Billion views on the platform. The promotional clip is widely regarded as one of the first “music videos,” having originally been shot all the way back in 1975. Since the debut of the Freddie Mercury biopic of the same name last year, the video has been viewed more than 300 million times! In honor of the achievement, the band has decided to create three new videos for their songs “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” and “A Kind of Magic” with the twist being that fans of the group can create short clips themselves for the project.
