• 1998: T.G. SHEPPARD served as best man for 35 different grooms at a Las Vegas hotel. The event was held in conjunction with a contest surrounding T.G.’s song She’s Getting’ The Rock.

• 2006: GARTH BROOKS and TRISHA YEARWOOD appeared on TV for the first time as a married couple when they were interviewed on Oprah. They showed photos of their wedding, talked about their lives together, and performed their duet Love Will Always Win.

• 2017: MAREN MORRIS played an acoustic version of My Church on an episode of the CBS drama NCIS: New Orleans.

• 2018: TROY GENTRY’s widow, Angela Gentry, filed suit in Philadelphia against Sikorsky Aircraft and Keystone Helicopter, charging that a design flaw was responsible for the MONTGOMERY GENTRY singer’s death in a September 2017 helicopter accident.
