New Sea Creature Named After Metallica

Mark Knopfler of the Dire Straits has a species of dinosaur named after him, but Metallica has the better bragging rights now as a living sea creature was named after the band. The just-discovered crustacean lives in the deep ocean of the Pacific, and its official species name is Macrostylis metallicola after the hard rocking band. Supposedly, the creature is “worm-like” and is colorless without eyes, and is only a quarter of an inch long.
