Expanded Version of Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers”

Wildflowers, the late Tom Petty’s 90s masterpiece and second solo album, will finally be reissued this fall in nine separate expanded versions. Titled, Wildflowers & All the Rest, the main album will arrive with an extra disc of All the Rest, consisting of 10 outtakes from the sessions, 5 of which have never been heard by the public. However, there are 9 different variations available in CD, LP, and Digital forms, including an Ultra Deluxe 9 LP box set that features 70 tracks with 9 never-before released songs, 34 unreleased versions of both demos and live cuts, and book and memorabilia from Petty. This will mark only the third vinyl release in the album’s history with the original pressing from 1994 currently fetching astronomical prices online, and the second only available in Petty’s The Complete Studio Albums Vol. 2 box set.
