In what might seem like an odd combination, a new Rush tribute tour is making its way across America, but its no ordinary band paying homage. It’s Primus. Primus kicked off their A Tribute To Kings tour this week in Idaho, playing some of their biggest hits followed by a complete rendition of Rush’s 1977 album A Farewell To Kings. It was originally scheduled to begin last year, but, like everything else, was canceled due to the pandemic. If you’re interested in seeing Les Claypool take on Geddy, Alex, and Neil, you have a couple chances. Primus will be in both Cleveland and Columbus in September and Pittsburgh in October.
