Charlie Watts’ publicist announced that the Rolling Stones drummer has passed away. He joined the band almost 60 years ago in 1963, and was actually trained as a graphic artist before becoming a Stone. He was, in fact, not the first member of the band to pass away as Brian Jones suffered an early death at age 27 in 1969. Earlier this month he decided to sit out the Stones current tour after heart surgery. Charlie Watts was 80.
