Buckeyes Pay Tribute to Rush

During halftime of Ohio State’s 66-17 drubbing of Maryland on Saturday, the Buckeye’s marching band honored Rush with an extended performance that included renditions of “Spirit of Radio,” “Tom Sawyer,” “2112,” “Limelight,” and “Fly By Night.” While it was a little strange to hear the Rush selections with a full brass section, it was a fitting tribute to the band that also served to remember Neil Peart’s indelible legacy. In fact, at one point the marching band assembled into a formation of a man playing drums as an ode to Peart. You can check out their performance below:
